Morning folks!

Started my day with an intense hour of P90X Plyometrics. My heart rate was through the roof, but I feel really great now that I’ve done it. I haven’t done any work and my mom gets into town tomorrow so I’m getting a little antsy.

After P90X I started with this:

Then I completed my breakfast with:

1 cup millet puffs, 1 HUGE strawberry, 1/2 banana, Chobani plain, 1/2 T flax seeds, 1 T Dark Chocolate Dreams. So yummy. The millet puffs were crackling! It was so fun to eat and reminded me of rice krispies!

Now that I’m chock full of protein I am ready to do paper research like a mad-woman and clean like a fiend.

I want to try kale chips later! I also missed having my Oobleck (i.e. green monster) drink today. Tear.

After rocking through Level 3 of 30-Day Shred and 45-minute Power Vinyasa Flow, I was a sweaty and HUNGRY minx.

I couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted to eat, except to know I wanted something savory, something PB, and something sweet. I came up with these:

Other 1/2 Ezekiel Tortilla, PB & Co Dark Chocolate Dreams, Sliced Strawberry… THIS WAS SO DELICIOUS!!!! I highly recommend this combination. Yum yum in my tum tum.

I finished my lunchy with something sweet and voluminous-

Strawberry Chobani, Vanilla Munch Galaxy Granola, Kashi Puffed Cereal. I like flavored Chobani but I wish it had the protein punch that Fage has.

Now I’m stuffed and ready for lots n lots n lots n lots of class and work. Have a great Wednesday!

Humpday Hangover

Hey y’all!

I have class on Wednesdays from 10am-10:30pm, so yesterday was a crazy day. I finally got home at 11:45 and was so wound up I couldn’t even fathom sleep until 1 am. I keep thinking I should do some yoga to make me start to slow down. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I went to sleep with the intention of doing 3 miles and strength training first thing, but woke up hungry, tired, and overwhelmed. So I got up and made this delicious concoction and did an easy level of Jillian Michael’s 30-Day-Shred:

1/2 cup TJ’s oatbran, 1/2 banana, 1/2 c water, 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk, 1 T pb. Looks bland, but tasted good and filled me up for several hours. However, I wish it looked a whole heckuva lot more like this. I mean, so droolworthy! I aspire to that!

I had to get some work done (I had a presentation), so I threw together a lunch and snack to get me until 5:

Chobani vanilla, blueberries, black berries, 2T pumpkin, other half my banana, crushed walnuts

I think the Chocolate Brownie is way too sweet for a snack as it doesn’t leave me fully satiated. Next week I want to have more salads in my life…

Speaking of which, I met up with a friend for dinner at Sprout- this amazing make your own salad place. I had: tofu, avocado, cucumber, broccoli, red pepper, celery, and apple, with balsamic on the side to dip in. DIVINE. I wish wish wish I had a picture of it. Sad.
